Construction Engineer
Job description
- Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
- Prepare or present public reports, such as bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, and property and right-of-way descriptions.
- Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.To discuss the project with the general planner and the subcontractors.
- Quality control of the subcontractors` works.
- Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
- To compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications.
- Resolving design and development problems
- Work schedule: 6 days in a week, from 08.00 till 17.00
Requirements
- Higher education (Industrial and civil construction)
- Fluent written and spoken English, Azerbaijani
- Should read drawings
- Knowledge of relevant industry Codes and Standards
- Minimum 3 years experience in international construction projects
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Archicad)
- Able to prepare reports
Salary 1500-2000 azn
