Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that are aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition through to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and produce reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience procurement or supply chain management, with a track record of successful negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
