Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC Baku LLC”) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.
Following successful commencement of Production the Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC.
We are currently looking for Procurement Manager to join our Company.
The duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Managing procurement and Logistics team
• Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving procurement and logistics performance
• Supervise the research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
• Supervise production planning activities and Delivering cost savings for the company
• Forecasting price trends and their impact on production activities
• Preparing and controlling the purchasing budget
• Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company
• Developing sourcing strategies and managing commodity cost initiatives
• Preparing and reviewing high quality tender documentation with international machines and raw materials suppliers
• Regularly contacting suppliers to renegotiate prices and delivery terms
• Resolving disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers (in close cooperation with Legal department)
• Supervise the warehouse and manage store keepers` activities
• Delegating projects and tasks to procurement and warehouse staff
• Promoting best practice across the company
• Training procurement and warehouse staff members
Requirements and skills for this position:
• University Degree (International background is an advantage)
• 5 - 7 years work experience
• Fluency in Azeri / English / Russian
• Establishing effective operating policies, lean initiatives and processes.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience of purchasing strategies and warehouse management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities.
• Excellent management, analytical, critical thinking and strategic skills.
• Knowledge of ERP system.
