• To ensure successful delivery of a range of  OSS tool projects on time, in budget and to the quality required by Azerconnect
• To project manage all aspects of delivery and improvement of new and existing OSS tools and from technical solution development to implementation into business as usual, using the project management tools appropriate to the size and impact of the project:
o Support development, gain agreement to and maintain a project scope and approach
o Support development of approaches to delivery of each project phase
o Develop, track and manage an end to end project plan
o Report on project status, risks, issues and dependencies
o Identify and proactively manage escalations to relevant people and bodies
o Co ordinate and take responsibility for the planning, delivery and quality of all phases of the project including:
o Business requirements and technical design
o Development, integration and technical testing
o User acceptance testing, training and implementation of  the solution into business as usual
o Data Migration
o Release management
o Post go live support of the solution
o Track and manage project budget
o Proactively manage relevant project stakeholders, including end users of the future system
o Manage working level relationships and ensure on time and quality delivery from all vendors and suppliers associated with the project
o Co ordinate with Procurement, Legal and Finance to manage vendor and supplier procurement, contractual and payment issues

Profile /Experience:

• All round Technical tool / IT project management professional with hands on experience of managing successful tool/package development and implementation projects
• Strong experience of implementation and configuration of OSS Tools in a Telco RAN environment:
o Preferably Tivoli NetCool, BMC Remedy, RAN planning tools and Performance Management Tools
o Background in NSN, Huawei & ALU element management
o Implementation of workflows and changes in BMC Remedy & Netcool tools
• Experience of delivering IT services in complex cross company solution and stakeholder environments
• Experience of managing vendor relationships and ensuring delivery of required output
• Strong understanding of Network / RAN Operations

Skills / Attitude:

• Strong programme/project management skills
• Ability to deliver utlising multiple vendors and Group shared service providers
• Strong technical background and expertise in RAN OSS
• User centric view with strong appreciation of business aspects of major systems implementations such as stakeholder management,  user involvement, process change and training
• Ability to influence and manage a complex network of stakeholders and users

• Ability to manage vendor relationships
