Venue Transport Design Specialist
Key accountabilities
• To identify alternative accesses to the venues by client group
• To create drawings to reflect alternative accesses based on the specifications provided by Transport Executives.
• To ensure that proposed solutions meet the appropriate specifications to accommodate vehicular movements within the venue perimeter.
• To develop transport signage list of requirements for all the venues of the cluster
• To receive sketches or instructions from these professionals and he has to translate it onto the CAD software.
• To be compliant with strict deadlines by which he has to turn in the designs.
• To maintain a version control system for the drawings
• The plans have to be drafted on the computer, but sometimes may have to design by hand as well. Instructions about the tools required, the ideal materials and procedure are also a part of this process.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• A certificate in AUTOCAD or similar CAD software
• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields is additional qualification.
• 2-3 years previous experience in CAD drafting is an added advantage
• Basic understanding of English language
• Familiar with the Baku road network
