Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and achieve cost savings.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and sustainability criteria.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and service agreements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including conducting supplier performance reviews and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and project managers, to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
  • Analyze procurement data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a procurement specialist or purchasing manager.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a track record of achieving cost savings and improving supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry regulations, and sustainability principles.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
