Job title: Intern, Corporate Finance

Function: Advisory- Transactions& Restructuring
 
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
 
Job Description:
 
• Participating in different stages of M&A/Financing/ Valuation projects;
• Data collection on target companies/potential investors, market research conducting;
• Assistance in drafting certain sections of the deliverable documents (business plans, information memoranda, etc);
• Assistance in financial modeling;
• Analyzing financial and operational data of companies under investigation;
• Preparing presentations and pitch materials for potential clients;
• Report writing;
• Assisting in drafting contracts and other project-related/risk management documents;
 
What is needed to join KPMG:

• Last year student/graduate (preferably in Economics, Finance;
• Basic understanding of financial statements and valuation methods/concepts (NPV, IRR, WACC, FCFF, FCFE, etc.);
• Desirable - general notion of forecasting process (how to construct a cash inflows/outflows);
• Analytical skills, attention to details, ability to work with huge bulks of information;
• Strong writing skills (English, Azerbaijani and Russian);
• Fluent English (at least Upper-intermediate level);
• Proficient MS Office user (Excel, Power Point, Word);
• Good team player;
• Relevant work/internship experience is an advantage;
• Preparation for ACCA/CFA qualification is an advantage;
 
The Internship lasts 3 - 6 months. Interns that receive favorable reviews on completion of their internship are offered full-time Consultant position in Corporate Finance Unit.
