Main Duties:

  • Analyzes pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and competitors and reports data to decision-makers.
  • Develops measurement tools to identify changing market trends.
  • Compares sales trends to previous periods and determines the cause for decrease or increase.
  • Stays up to date on industry trends and new products.
  • Develops new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost.
  • Coordinates customer (both external and internal) complain and troubleshooting with corresponding vendor.
  • Assesses products, services, and vendors.
  • Develops and implements recommendations for supply chain management optimization.
  • Negotiates pricing and sourcing details with vendors.
  • Conducts product and service quality appraisal.
  • Handles the day-to-day activities of the Procurement department.
  • Ensures competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
  • Maintains complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
  • Supports relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of cost calculation and projects.
  • Coordinates with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Is responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains meaningful liaison with vendors to assure the constant procurement of supplies.
  • Reports coordination from departments on monthly basis, drafts reports required by team members.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years minimum experience working in the similar position in petrochemical industry or general purchasing experience with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering is must!
  • Bachelor's degree is must and any other related certification is a plus; 
  • Fluency in Russian, proficiency in English. Turkish language will be an advantage.
  • Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks. Ability to work on holidays as well as on weekends. 
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet multiple tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and possess initiative to see all assignments and projects through to completion unsupervised.
  • Organizational skills and proficient computer skills are required.
