Why you are important to us:

HR and Payroll specialist is responsible for all payroll-related tasks. HR and Payroll specialist is accountable for collecting and reviewing employee information and working hours, calculating wages, preparing and processing employee payments, and maintaining accurate payroll records. Performing all personnel administration related activities.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll cycle including timesheet data entry, calculations, and deductions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, adhering to established schedules and   deadlines.
  • Calculate various types of compensation, including regular wages and bonuses.
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports for accuracy, identifying discrepancies as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns.
  • Stay up to date with local labor legislation, tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with payroll-related requirements.
  • Performing all personnel administration related activities (hiring, termination, promotion, position changes, replacement, etc.) according to the Azerbaijan Labor Code
  • Processing employment records and related amendments in E-Government System.
  • Support HR Function head to develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organizational objectives.

What we want you to have:

  • Education – bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
  • Work experience – Proven experience as Payroll Specialist or in a similar HR role.
  • Computer skills – Proficient user of MS Office applications.
  • Language skills – Azerbaijani (native), English (fluent).
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
