POSITION: SERVICE TECHNICIAN – MECHANIC

We as “Borusan Makina ve Güç Sistemleri Güç Sistemleri” are looking for a “Service Technician – “Mechanic” located in Baku.

Company Description:

Borusan Makina ve Güç Sistemleri (Borusan Makina) is a company of Borusan Holding has been selling / providing product support services of Caterpillar and Caterpillar’s trade mark “Olympian” generator sets in Azerbaijan since 1997. While Borusan Makina is the authorized sole dealer of Caterpillar in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgzstan and Turkey, it is targeted to grow market share and customer satfistaction level as well.

Job Definition:

• Troubleshoot / Repair / Maintenance of Diesel / Natural Gas Generators, Energy Systems.
• Give consultancy to the customers on technical solutions and benefits.
• Application, commissioning and start up of generators.
• Technical reports preparation to the customers
• Spare parts / breakdown parts list preparation
• Reviewing operation and maintenance manuals in English for possible breakdowns / demands periodically.

Candidates must have;

• University degree (Mechanical EngineerDegree is highly preferred)
• 4 to 6 years of field service experience in diesel/ natural gas generator / electric power station
• Experience with working on off-shore platforms
• Excellent know-how and skills on troubleshoot of different brands of generatorsand engines
• Fluent English in both speaking, reading and writing
• Willing to work with flexible working hours
• Willing to work with shift operation at offshore
• Technical understanding and analytic thinking of engines / generators
• Ability to use computer
• No travel restriction
• B class driving licence
• No military obligation for male candidates

Salary : 1000-1200 AZN / per month + Additional Offshore Rates + Overtime
