Responsibilities:
- Individual Counseling: Provide confidential individual counseling and therapy sessions to university students
- Group Counseling: Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group sessions on topics such as stress management, resilience building, and interpersonal skills.
- Outreach and Prevention: Develop and implement mental health awareness and prevention programs, workshops, and seminars for the university community.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and confid ential records of counseling sessions
Job requirements:
- Excellent level in English: applicants must be able to teach in English in their topic (chemistry);
- Master in Counselling Psychology or equivalent;
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience in providing counseling and psychological services, preferably in an educational or university setting;
- Strong knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ethical and confidential work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
