Vocational Education and Training Coordinator
The non – governmental organization HEKS – EPER Azerbaijan implements on behalf of the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) a market development project (milk and beef) in five Rayons of Western Aran region. For the second phase of the project (2013- 2016), it is seeking a Coordinator for Vocational Education and Training.
Work location: Agjabedi, with frequent travels to the field

Duration: 36 months with a three-month probation period
Job description
HEKS-EPER Azerbaijan contracts a Vocational Education and Training Coordinator who facilitates the development of basic professional education in the milk- and meat sector, respectively re- establishes training opportunities for practitioners (commodity related professions, affiliated service providers). Orienting on needs of the private sector (job markets), the coordinator leads multidisciplinary groups and assuresthe cooperation with the corresponding Ministries and thus the embedment in the national education system.The coordinator acts in line with the legislation of the government of Azerbaijan, HEKS- EPER Azerbaijan and the Swiss Development Cooperation.
Qualifications
• Higher education, preferably in pedagogical, or Livestock related fields;
• Work experience with proven results in managing educational programs, experiences in the private sector are an asset;
• Knowledge and work experience in fields of market development are an asset;
• Pro- active facilitation skills, result orientation, outstanding communication and networking skills;
• ability to work independently, in a small team and under rather difficult conditions, ability to travel;
• Besides Azeri, fluent English language skills. Russian and Turkish are assets;
