National Project Manager

The non – governmental organization HEKS – EPER Azerbaijan implements on behalf of the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) a market development project (milk and beef) in five Rayons of Western Aran region. For the second phase (2013- 2016) it is seeking a National Project Manager.

Work location: Agjabedi, with frequent travels to Rayons of the Aran region and Baku

Position/ title : National Project Manager

Entry date: November 01.2013

Duration: 36 months with a three-month probation period

Job Description

HEKS-EPER Azerbaijan contracts a National Project Manager who manages, supervises and monitors all project components and is ensuring proper and efficient operations, which are in line with the legislation of the government of Azerbaijan, HEKS- EPER Azerbaijan and the Swiss Development Cooperation.

Qualifications

• Higher education, preferably in an agriculture related discipline and/ or development studies
• Work experience with proven results in project management, preferably in private sector development.
• Profound knowledge of the legislation of Azerbaijan
• Besides Azeri, fluent English language skills. Russian and Turkish are an asset
• Ability to work independently, in a small team and under rather difficult conditions, ability to travel
• Excellent communication and networking skills and team spirit
