Responsibilities:
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning;
- Monitor and analyze project budget preparation and financial performance and identify areas of improvement;
- Develop, maintain, and monitor internal controls and procedures to ensure adequate safeguarding of assets;
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to maximize profitability;
- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements;
- Monitor cash flows and the preparation of cash flow forecasts;
- Identify financial risks and opportunities for improvement;
- Provide guidance and assistance to other departments on financial matters;
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports;
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide financial advice and assistance to management;
- Track, monitor, and report on KPIs performance.
An ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in finance, audit, or accounting fields;
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar position;
- Professional accounting qualification (CFA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
