Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC”) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

The Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC.

We are currently looking for an IT Administrator position.

The duties will include:

• Technical knowledge of server and PC operating systems (Windows server 2003 & Windows Server 2008, Microsoft SQL server 2005; 2008, ISA 2006 and MS Exchange server)
• Technical knowledge of current data communications, protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, routers, Ethernet switches
• Experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems, as well as experience with various other Microsoft technologies
• Provision of help desk services and technical support
• Hardware and Software tracking asset management
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
• Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
• Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
• Create, change, and delete user accounts per request
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
• Contribute to and maintain system standards

Knowledge/Skills

• University degree, preferably in computer science or related courses and trainings (CISCO, MCP)
• Two to four years IT Administration experience
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian and English (both oral and written)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
