Job Title: MARKETING FINANCE EXECUTIVE

Location:  Baku, Azerbaijan

• provides timely proactive financial information, evaluation and advice that enables Brand and Trade Marketing team to develop and execute effective plans and take informed decisions
• Assists Marketing Finance Manager in building strong financial awareness within the whole marketing function, including an effective internal control environment.

Principal Accountabilities

• Provides marketing team with financial information and Key Performance Indicators on Brand and Trade Marketing plans and activities to facilitate effective decision making.
• Works with marketing team to ensure that their budgeted spend levels are not exceeded and to improve efficiecy and  effectiveness of spend.
• Helps marketing team to control their expenses and ensures that no material mispostings to budget accounts occur, which could lead to distortion of marketing financial results.
• Provides Accounting and Finance departments with relevant marketing finance information.
• Increases the level of financial awareness within the marketing function and raises the level of objectivity behind marketing decisions.
• Assists marketing management with the development and implementation of practical procedures to ensure a high level of internal control both within the department and, if and where appropriate, within external parties
• Participates in the preparation of significant contracts and performance payments relating to the marketing function, e.g. agency agreements, sales drive programmes, etc.
• Provides input to the strategic decision process in respect of pricing, trade margins and Excise, to help Marketing, Finance and CORA management take informed decisions as to the most efficient price and excise strategy in the rapidly changing market environment
• Undertakes analysis of marketing activities and overall profitability
• Analyzes impact of competitors’ activities on the Company’s financial performance

Knowledge, Skill & Experience

• Finance professional with a commercial approach
• The complexity and subjectivity of marketing requires an individual with proven potential
• Strong management and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of all functions with the Company, in particular the interrelationship between functions.
• Excellent communication and motivation of change.
• Proactive, persuasive and creative
• Introducing new systems, сontrols  and procedures 
• Capable of analysing financial impact of marketing strategies
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within the Company
• Handles relationships with external parties.
