Finance Manager / Business Controller Responsibilities:

  • Management and improvement of forecasting and budgeting process, along with budget control and reporting process (including development and implementation of budget setting process, control and periodic reporting over the budget realization);
  • Regular monitoring and reporting over the economic and financial position of the company, its working capital management and, short and long-term financing needs;
  • Supervision of performance analysis and reporting process from the financial, as well as the operational perspectives, preparation of relevant reports and presentations supported with preliminary analysis for regular meetings with the Management Board of the Company and the Supervisory Board of the Group;
  • Identification of relevant KPIs across the business (including financial and non-financial metrics), ensuring they are reflected in management report and circulation of management reports across the business;
  • Serve as a key liaison and partner to cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, IT, and other teams to drive scalable analyses and insights and to ensure understating of financial data and other relevant KPIs;
  • Work with the business to ensure integrity of all commercial data across systems and reporting;
  • Ownership of analytical tools and systems across the business, ensuring they are fit for purpose and address the needs of the business;
  • Provision of feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for different capital investment and operational optimisation projects, participation in price-setting, cost calculation and other projects that involves financial modelling;
  • Provide assistance and informed suggestions on development of internal control processes that work to minimise the financial and operational risk;
  • Participation and assistance in development and improvement projects related with finance function.

Knowledge and experience requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience (preferably in financial management/corporate finance/financial analysis or other relevant stream of finance function);
  • Experience of working with financial modelling or forecasting or budgeting is necessary;
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting and/or other relevant business disciplines;
  • Relevant papers of professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, FMVA, CPA and etc.);
  • Solid knowledge and working experience on ERP (1C or SAP), MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook (advanced Excel is a must);
  • Excel Macros, VBA, Data analytics (Power Bl) is an advantage;
  • Fluent Azerbaijani and written English are must, Russian is preferable.

Working conditions:

  • Salary: 4500 AZN;
  • Work schedule: 08:30 – 17:30, five-day workweek;
