Role synopsis
BP Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Region (AGTR) invites professionals to become a part of Discipline Capability (DC) Team for Azerbaijan Wells as the Technical Recruitment Advisor who works closely and supports the DC Recruitment and Deployment Lead.
The Discipline Capability Team plays a vital role in ensuring competent and available resources for wells teams, as well as, for BP Global Wells Organisation (GWO) to deliver the business. In particular the role focuses on delivering the AGT Wells Resource Demand Plan through the recruitment and deployment of professional experienced wells personnel.
Key accountabilities
As Wells Technical Recruitment Advisor, your main responsibilities will be as following, but not limited to:
• Assist and participate in reviewing and screening CV’s for the potential hire of new permanent BP (National/Expat) and/or Agency experienced Wells personnel
• Participate in Interviews and provide hire recommendations.
• Work with DC Recruitment and Deployment Lead and DC Co-ordinator, co-ordinate the Wells People Demand Plan, undertaking and preparing key reports to support decisions in recruitment and deployment.
• Co-ordinate and maintain data-base for Wells personnel and provide assistance to Wells Team Develop and maintain Technical Interview question bank and provide assistance to Wells Teams as required for interviews
• Develop, maintain, and update Job Descriptions as required.
• Provide coaching and assist in competency assessments of Wells personnel as required.
• Participate and assist in the delivery of the Capability Discover GWO events for new BP hires into the Region.
Essential Education
• Engineering Degree (BSc or Equivalent)
Essential experience and job requirements
• Minimum 7 years of drilling engineering or related Oilfield discipline experience
• Excellent English, oral and written skills
Other essential skills and knowledge
• Experience working for Major Oil Operator or International Oilfield Contractor (move to other essential)
Desirable criteria & qualifications
• Experience in hiring, developing, Training and or coaching of personnel
• Experienced working and participating in Health Safety Security Environmental (HSSE) Systems and other Standards and Policies.
• Strong Microsoft Skills
