AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Junior Piping Designer.

The successful candidate should have:

• Understanding of Piping Engineering Practices.
•  Use of PDMS CAD and DRAFT drawing software.
• Good Verbal and Written English Language.
• Team Player.
• Knowledge of relevant industry Codes and Standards
• Good communication skills
• Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Able to focus attention on delivering quality Design Deliverables on schedule and within budget
• Computer literate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• Preparation of PDMS modelling and then detailed drawings, layouts, isometrics, BOM’s etc and documents to the requirements of the Piping Engineer.
•  Use of PDMS Cad and DRAFT facilities.
• Requisitioning of Piping Bulk Materials using PAMMS software.
• Close out and as Building of drawings and Documents.
• Ensure that all drawings and documents are complete within the allocated hours and in accordance with the programme as directed by Piping Engineer.
• Ensure that discipline deliverables conform the AMEC Way and are best-practice.
• Maintain good relations with other disciplines and with the client at all times.
• To read, understand and implement Company Safety Policy and the arrangements described in the Company Safety Management System documents.
• Ensures work is carried out to accepted design safety standards as required by the Health and Safety as Work Act 1974
