AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Electrical Designer (National)

The successful candidates should have:

• Preferably hold a relevant degree (B.Sc., B.Eng, etc.) or similar relevant technical qualification
• Junior designer - minimum of 2 years experience of engineering design with the use of CAD and PDMS software .
• Designer - minimum of 4 years experience of engineering design with the use of CAD and PDMS software .
• Preferably site experience on Construction and Commissioning of plant.
• Knowledge of IEE 16th Edition Regulations & IEE Recommendations for Mobile & Fixed Offshore Installations
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• He/she shall seek specialist advice from other disciplines, principal engineers or senior engineers to enable him/her to complete and correctly interface his/her areas of responsibility for the specific project.
• Produce and check drawings and documents in accordance with Company Procedures and maintain an auditable record of these checks.
• Report fully all aspects of his/her work scope to the Senior Electrical Design Engineer or supervising engineer on a regular basis.
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be considered to be a function of a competent design engineer as applicable and as directed by the Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Specify and Requisition all equipment and materials within his/her work scope as directed by the Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Maintain manual or computerised schedules and drawings.
• Execute all necessary calculations and studies required within his/her work scope.
• Undertake site visits and visits to vendor establishments during the execution of his/her project work scope.
• Ensure Health & Safety Responsibilities (ref. SHEQ Responsibilities attached) are adhered to and understood
