Job mission:
- This role will be expected to cover the whole accounting work, require good accounting and bookkeeping backgrounds, with tight deadlines in friendly environment and with amazing colleagues.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain full cycle accounting for company (payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, taxes, and other general accounting duties)
- Bookkeeping management and qualitative execution and control of accounting and bookkeeping processes in accordance with the company’s policy and international accounting standards
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- To ensure timely reflection of accounting operations in the ERP systems of the company.
- Timely collection of receivables and repayment of accounts payable and regular AP and AR reconciliation
- Compliance and filing of local taxes, e.g. CIT, VAT, SSPF and Payroll tax and etc.
- Monthly and yearly closing including annual report. Manage local payment process to ensure full compliance.
- Perform timely monthly Management reporting
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements
- Ensure communication with auditors, tax authorities, state institutions and other partners and consultants.
- Other ad hoc enquiries requested by Management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Higher education (Bachelor degree as minimum) in Economics/Accounting/Finance and credit is a mandatory requirement. It is desirable to pass special specialized courses, advanced training;
- 5+ years’ experience in full cycle accounting and taxation and minimum 3 years as chief accountant
- Strong Knowledge of all accounting, tax and management accounting processes;
- Collection, processing, storage and analysis of information;
- Payroll skills;
- Skills in maintaining primary documentation;
- Accounting for settlements with suppliers and buyers;
- Analytical mindset, systematic, structured, responsible;
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours (24-hour operation, 7 days a week)
- Possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of 1C and Excel programs Strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word)
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, English will be considered as a plus
- Self-driven and motivated person with a ‘Can do attitude’ to any task
- Mature, stable, result oriented, honest and an active person with open mind.
