Japan Tobacco International (JTI) is one of the leaders of global tobacco market. JTI produces about 90 world-known cigarette brands including top-selling Winston, Camel and Mild Seven.
We are pleased to open the position of an Accountant based in Baku.
Main responsibilities:
• Accounting of the economic activities of the enterprise and monitor the effective use of material, human and financial resources;

Preparation of balance and other reports on the activities of the enterprise.
Calculation and control of taxes and other obligatory payments;
• The approval of the contracts in compliance with accounting, tax law RA and corporate policies and procedures. Control the execution of contracts regarding registration of the supporting documents, timeliness and completeness of calculations;
• Arranges the inspection of the company by auditors and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
• Education: University degree in finance or economic;
• Work experience: Min 3 years of finance experience in international company, experience with multinational FMCGs would be a plus;
• Languages skills: fluency in Azeri, strong English and Russian (written and spoken);
• Computer Proficiency: PC literacy: MS Word, Excel,1C;
• Profile knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of Azerbaijani legislation; strong theoretical legal background;
• Specialties: civil, commercial, tax, advertising, labour law; knowledge of tobacco regulations would be a plus;
• Other requirements: ability to study and use local legislation of foreign countries (within CIS);
• Personal characteristics: ability to integrate into a team of professionals and to cooperate as a full member; travel, when necessary; ability to work under pressure.
