Overall responsibilities:

• Please see the attached scope of work for detailed information on specific goals, tasks, responsibilities, and competencies. 

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in design, graphic design, fine arts, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience as a Graphic Designer or Illustrator in a professional environment, design start-up, or design agency.
• Proven strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDraw, etc.) and MS Office (interactive PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of printing technology, the basics of prepress, and the basic principles of the production of promotional materials.
• Strong knowledge of visual design and visual theory (i.e., composition, color theory, typography, etc.), a sharp eye for layout design, and a strong affinity for the latest design trends and new media (augmented/virtual reality, social media, etc.)
• Knowledge of, respect, and sensitivity to copyright.
• Personal integrity and sensitivity to cultural, gender-based, religious, racial, national, age differences, and the needs of vulnerable groups.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
• Knowledge of USAID branding and marking rules and regulations is a plus.
• Russian and English language skills are a plus.
