Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the Chief accountant;
• Supervise accounting systems and procedures;
• Participate in the process of setting financial standards and forecasting;
• Execute and participate in the closing process at the end of the month and at the end of the year;
• Posting of period-end journal entries;
• Inspect, distribute, place and reconcile creditor and receivable debts;
• Verification and reconciliation of general ledger’s tax balances such as sales/purchase tax account, VAT account, corporate income tax, withholding tax, etc.;  
• Preparation of tax reports and control over tax related issues
• Perform analysis and analysis of accounting information;
• Detect errors and make corrections;
• Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines

Required skills:

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Accounting
• Study: Higher education in Economics, Finance or Business Administration
• Knowledge (language, programs, etc.): Fluent in Azerbaijani and English, good knowledge of Russian; Knowledge of tax Code.
• Certifications: Proven knowledge of accounting principles and approaches such as successful completion of exams within professional body such as ACCA, CIMA, etc.
