Key responsibilities: 

  • Personal Assistant to the senior Journalist, Planning, scheduling, organizing interviews and meetings, expanding communications efforts, project coordination and facilitation for various projects.
  • The candidate should have a background in media, and be innovative, organized, and self-motivated with a keen eye for driving strategic messaging.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess strong assistance skills including shepherding projects through to completion, organizational skills including, and technical skills including various office software.
  • Possess excellent writing skills, especially in information and cultural domain and presenting it to a lay audience.
  • Good knowledge and familiarity with different social media network.
  • Familiar with photo and video and communications tools. “Optional” 
  • Have worked and/or have educational experience in communication, media, and Azerbaijani environment.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university in a field related to public policy, journalism, communications, marketing, international relation, or related fields.
  • Years of experience in, assistant, journalism, communications, or marketing
  • Experience coordinating events and developing marketing and communication materials.
  • Familiarity with media, communication, and Azerbaijan’s specificities. 
  • Good knowledge of social media.
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani, English and Russian language
