The Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of management tasks and working in accordance with the plans and strategies within the scope of responsibility of the department.
  • According to the plan of the plant, timely supply of the necessary raw materials and auxiliary materials without interruption in production, choosing more efficient way of costs and expenditures.
  • Conduct research of the suppliers, provide the required samples and collect offers to meet the purchasing needs of all departments of the company.
  • Assist with trade activities to import and export shipments.
  • Supply of materials and services required by the relevant departments, evaluation of price-quality ratio, conclude supply and service contracts agreeing with management and relevant departments.
  • Adapt contracts in compliance with procurement procedures and interests of the company.
  • Provide goods and materials in compliance with the TCCC quality standards.
  • Refund or replace of the damaged, incomplete or inappropriate to the technical specifications and quality standards goods and inform the supplier on quality standards.
  • Conduct constant market research in accordance with the approved plan and strategy, determine and observe market prices, research new markets for existing products and services.
  • Make proposals to the related departments concerning purchasing process improvement of the goods and services.
  • Negotiate payment terms, ensure proper documents clearance and storage of them in the process of contract signature.
  • Comply with legal and company procedures during performance of procurement obligations.
  • Follow the company's internal disciplinary regulations, labor protection, safety and sanitary-hygienic norms and rules.
  • Monitor Warehouse stocks 
  • Provide required procurement reports to the management 
  • Include procurement procedure into SAP system and carrying analysis
  • Implementation and control of the new projects according to the plan
  • According to periodic training on environmental issues, should follow the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan that regulates this field and the standards complying with the Company's internal procedures.
  • To meet ISO 9001; FSSC 22000; ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements.

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 1-3 years of working experience in related field
  • Good command of English Language (Upper-Intermediate)
  • Good computer and database application skills
  • Ability to analyze and negotiate contracts
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, administrators and vendors
  • Knowledge of market conditions, sources of supply and available commodities
