Job Title: Business Development Manager
Department: Business Development and Marketing
Reports to:  Business Development and Marketing Director
Position Type:  Full Time
Duration of contract:  Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Advise Business Development and Marketing Director on business climate and environment in the local market and region;
• Share his expertise, skills in the subsidiary company’s business strategy, management and operation structure in tight collaboration as with the Company’s management;
• Build strong internal partnership relations within the subsidiary Company to deliver efficient  long term outcomes in line with the strategic goals;
• Remain up to date with and advise on best practices in the strategic development of business plans with long term vision;
• Provide advisory services and support thought leadership and overall supervision to subsidiary company staff working on specific projects or sub-projects and keep work focused on the objectives for execution of assignments;
• Lead efforts in the areas of business strategy, market strategy, performance management and organization design of subsidiary company;
• Participate in planning for the strategy and the best business practices within the Company;
• Participate in project planning and active monitoring of quality, productivity and adherence to time-lines;
• Benchmark company profitability and other financial metrics against competitors and the market;
• Assign the staff with various tasks, participate in joint team formation;
• Within the established limits, sanction project work related expenses;
• Identify and evaluate future growth and cost reduction opportunities for the subsidiary company;
• Evaluate economic and legal risks to the subsidiary company and its activities arising out of engagements, consult the subsidiary company and adopt suitable risk management practices;
• Keep abreast of new developments in the profession, the business, the industry and the regulatory environment;
• Take active interest in organizational endeavors outside the function, generate ideas, and oversee implementation.
• Design recommendations for various operational aspects of subsidiary company activities;
• Participate in day-to-day decision making on strategic development issues;
• Keep Business Development and Marketing Director informed about plans and activities, problems and achievements
• Actively participate in negotiations and cooperate with domestic and international partners of the subsidiary company;    
• In cooperation with Marketing & Sales team of subsidiary company Business Development Manager responsible for fulfillment of sales plans.
• Business Development Manager responsible for implementation of Marketing and Business plans of assigned subsidiary company.
• Business Development Manager responsible for preparation of article, press releases and other documents related to industry and assigned subsidiary company

 Requirements

• Higher education in Economics/Construction;
• Work Experience: minimum 2-3 years of relevant sales / business development experience in the assigned industry (hotel business, construction/construction materials). 
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Ability to work under pressure and in flexible working hours;
• Adaptation to change;
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Azeri and Russian;
• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.).
