Responsibilities:

  • Accounting system set up and management.
  • Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets; and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
  • Handling everything relating to cash flow and financial planning.
  • Cost & management reporting, including actual vs. budget analysis.
  • Establish and periodically review formal financial procedures.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to GM on financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies. Ensure tenders follow agreed controls, as per the client requirements.
  • Be responsible for timely and accurate tax reporting.
  • Dealing with different commercial and financial issues, including liaison with internal and external auditors.
  • Managing the supplier payment process.
  • Set up and oversee the company’s finance ERP system.

Essential requirements & skills:

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or similar field
  • At least 7 years of experience in the financial function
  • In depth knowledge of tax code
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and English language
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Integrity
  • Understanding of data privacy standards
  • Superior attention to detail

  • Problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking skills

Desirable requirements:

  • MSc/MA in Accounting, Finance or similar field or MBA
  • Previous experience in Construction company
  • Proficient in the use of ERP systems (e.g. 1C)
