Job Title: HSE Coordinator

Description of Essential Functions of the Position:

• Maintaining all HSE records including HSE trainings, inspections, reviews, injury and incident investigation and reporting to HSE Manager
• Provide the HSE Manager and site supervisor with high quality, timely advice and recommendations concerning HSE related matters
• Co-ordinate safety activities, procedures and policies, and disseminate regularly
• Providing safety trainings, monitoring and conducting courses
• Assisting to HSE Manager with the preparation of emergency response plans, procedures and written work instructions
• Ensuring that fire and safety equipment is maintained at company facilities
• Assisting to HSE Manager with the preparation and implementation of Oil Spill Pollution Containment Countermeasure Plans
• Investigate accidents/incidents and dangerous occurrences and take all measures of preventing its reoccurrence
• Conducting routine safety inspection at location, safety meetings, reviewing the status and maintenance of safety equipments and other related safety-oriented work
• Advise management as necessary of any specific hazards, containment and disposal/handling of hazardous materials/chemicals employed in the manufacture of products or processes
• Carry out/arrange environmental monitoring/work zone monitoring within the workplace in accordance with company procedures and local legislation
• Administrative responsibilities include assisting in office administration, import/export control, inventory management, and miscellaneous office administrative duties
• Carried out rig safety audit and inspection
• Incident and accident investigation report writing
• Providing safety trainings/simulations (Emergency evacuation, fire, BOPA, first aid rendering, H2S and etc)
• Supervise and control of work of HSE Advisors’ and Officers’
• Carry out Risk Assessment and work permits, confined space entry permits and etc
• Order/maintain inventory of safety supplies and personal
protective equipments and control their use
• Set fire brigade/first aider team from employees from the area and conduct training and exercises until proficiency is attained
• Ensure that adequate stock of parts and necessary equipments are on hand to service fire protection and safety equipments.
• Preparation of monthly/site inspection reports to HSE Manager
• Collecting all kind of data related HSE and analyzing and reporting Contribute to the preparation of the annual HSE (improvement) plan
• Any other duties assigned as and when required by the company/manager


Candidates Must Meet the Following Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in this field
• Proficiency in communications in English and Azerbaijani languages, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS office tools
• Has high integrity and high achievement motivation
• Has excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team
