General Responsibilities:

•Microsoft Windows XP SP3 & Windows 7
•Microsoft Office XP suite (2002) & Microsoft Office 2010
•IBM Lotus Notes 6.5 and 8.5 mail system
•Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.0 and higher
•Win Zip 9.0
•Sygate (personal firewall ) 4.1
•McAfee Anti-Virus 8.5 • 6.0
•Altiris Agent
•Cisco VPN Client
•Utimaco Safe Guard Easy 4.3 and 5.5
- Working in Windows Server 2003 & 2008 environments
•Basic installation of Microsoft Windows 2003 & 2008 Server
•Work with Microsoft Windows 2003 & 2008 Server services (eg DHCP , DNS, AD)
- Working in Windows Mobile environment & basic installation of Windows Mobile
- Working with Cisco network equipment
•basic knowledge of working with CISCO active network equipment
- Plan and report all IT & organizational tasks to Line Manager & dot lined managing person.
- Performing daily IT Services activities:
•Continous review and resolution of requests
•Monitoring of active network equipment and local data links
•Control of data storage systems & backup software
•Preparation and control of the user systems
- Support of local and BAT global applications
- Ensures quality of all actions taken and follow subordinance
- A responsible, conscious and timely resolution of incidents received from End Users
- Responsibly, deliberately, and timely performing of the tasks received from Line Manager or dot line managing person for managing jobs
- Support and developed of IT procedures related to IT environment, equipment & users
- Communication with external global & local vendors for Company's IT environment
- Preparation of technical support and IT related financial documentation (PR/GRN, Expence and etc.), as well as technical and user guides.
- Provide necessary basic user training to newcomers or current staff members, personally or in groups, on systems in use or newly introduced.
- Provide temporary remote support to other Company office locations and users, when assigned by Line Manager or dot lined managing person, during abcence or vacation of local colleague.
