The Social Fund for Development of IDPS (SFDI) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an implementing agency for “IDPs Living Standards and Livelihoods Project” financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Government of Azerbaijan, announces the following vacancy:

- Social and Environmental Safeguard Specialist

Requirement and Qualifications:
Education
A university degree in the area of construction or engineering (minimum bachelor degree, master’s degree preferred);
Experience and Knowledge
At least 5 years of experience in safety techniques;
Other Skills
Fluency in Azeri;
Excellent computer skills (MS Windows, MS Excel, Word);
Ability to communicate with other people.

Consultants will be selected in accordance with the Section V, IC procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004, revised October 2006, May 2010 and January 2011).
