ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Develop, communicate and implement a cost management system in compliance with the Governing Agreements, AACE Cost Management Framework and best practices of major O&G companies.
- Management of cost for Offshore Transportation & Installation (T&I), Hook-Up and brownfield activities.
- Validate monthly VOWD Value Of Works Done in coordination with Planning and Reporting Team;
- Develop and maintain project Commitments Register for Offshore T&I, HU and Brownfield activities.
- Provide the necessary checks, approval functions for invoices submitted, in accordance with Contracts, Project & Company procedures and make sure that the invoiced values are representing approved values of the actual works performed by contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers etc.
- Assist in the cost assessment of any contract variations (change orders) and identify any Project cost trends, drifts, variances data update and maintain the Project Final Cost Estimate and follow up of Life of Project (LOP) Budget for Subsea and Platform Packages;
- Prepare the Monthly Cost Reports.
- The jobholder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE rules & requirements, to the Company Ethics and Code of Conduct policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility. He shall respect the JOCAP Code of Conduct and Maintain ethical culture at the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

- Degree in relevant discipline (certificate from recognized international organization i.e. AACE is an advantage);
- Minimum 10 year experience of O&G with minimum 5 year as Cost Engineer in reimbursable T&I, HU & Brownfield Contracts;
- Cost management experience of a portfolio at least > 100 MUSD Projects preferably in Oil & Gas Projects within major Operating Companies;
- Experience of working with EPCI Contractors under different contractual schemes i.e. lump-sum, reimbursable etc.;
- Use of SAP controlling, commitments and cost structure modules Understanding of company and project finance;
- Development and use of computer cost management applications;
- Sound excel knowledge.
- Fluent in English and Azerbaijani languages, Russian language recommended.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and used to communication with international technical staff and experts
