Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage transport requests, drivers, vehicle and generator servicing and maintenance, insurance and vehicle accidents
- Responsible for management of transport requests for Barda Area of Responsibility and organizes and coordinates the work of drivers and distributions of daily driver tasks
- Responsible for all driver related issues, compensation, per diem, annual leave requests etc
- Provides driver training when required
- Ensures that all vehicle related documents are accurate, complete, filled and archived correctly
- Ensures that vehicles are checked on daily basis by the drivers and follows all technical problems reported by them
- Ensures that all Delegation vehicles are ready to be driven and arranges regular service, maintenance and repairs
- Ensures that all vehicle fleet assets are in compliance with institutional and national rules concerning third party and Casco Insurance
- Organizes drivers work schedule and distributes tasks fairly
- Responsible for all driver, including daily drivers related issues: compensation, per diem, annual leave (AL) schedule and AL requests, working advances, absence, overtime and annual performance appraisals
- Be aware of duties of all his subordinates and ensure that they are carried out as required
- Monitors, controls, and reports all fuel related issues of vehicle fleet and generators based in ICRC Barda Sub-Delegation
- Ensures that all vehicle and generator fuelling is done properly, recording in log books and fuel receipt are collected and sent to Baku to be entered to Fleet Management System
- Responsible all vehicle fleet related accidents, follows all local traffic rules and regulations and institutional regulations
- Reports all vehicle related accidents, including small scratches to his immediate supervisor
- Manages and operates institutional Fleet Management System (FWC) and ensures that all data entered to the system is acute and updated
- Generates reports from fleet management reports when required
- Be aware of all security related issue and implement them in daily activities
- Ensures that vehicle fleet and generator servicing and maintenance is carried out in accordance with institutional rules and requirements
- Plans, organizes and coordinates servicing and maintenance of vehicles with Baku Dispatcher
- Manages and controls the invoices related with the minor repair/maintenance of vehicles authorised by BAKU Dispatcher
- Raises Supply Requests for local purchase of minor spare parts approved by BAKU Dispatcher
Desired Profile and Skills:
- Secondary school or technical/professional school diploma
- Good command of English
- Good computer skills
- Driving license B for at least 5 years
- 2 years’ work experience in a similar field of activity
- Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment
- Capacity to adhere to and to implement procedures
- Good communication skills
- Rigor, method and analytical skills
- Familiarity with all-terrain vehicles and VHF radio
