ICT SPECIALIST 2- Barda

About the Job:

The ICT Specialist 2 installs and maintains all ICT systems and services in the ICRC office in Barda, providing also workplace support to the users there.

This is a full-time position with the duty station in Barda.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Independently installs, maintains, repairs and monitors ICT equipment in line with ICRC standards.
• As a part of global support services handles L2 tickets or escalates as per agreed workflow.
• Ensures existing ICT infrastructure is functional.
• Ensures that global/country-level policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
• Briefs, advises and trains end-users and peers on the ICRC's ICT systems.
• Ensures inventory is updated as per procedures and carries out regular physical checks.
• Drafts and updates technical documentation for all IT equipment.
• Provides day-to-day technical support to end-users of desktop applications, telephones, printers, computers or any other ICT standard equipment.
• Maintains contacts with suppliers/providers and follows ICRC logistics and ICT procedures
• May be called upon to train ICT teams.
• Manages the Radio Room in Barda SD

Desired Profile and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT, electronics, computer science, telecommunications or similar field
• Good level (spoken and written) of English.
• Proven transversal ICT knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years' troubleshooting experience in any area of the ICRC ICT service catalogue (e.g. workplace services, telecommunications, IT, help desk, etc.).
• 1 year of people-management experience a strong asset.
• Availability to travel and carry out short missions to other sites in Azerbaijan upon request.
