Data Communication engineer  

DataCom group, being one of the vital groups of Information Communication Technologies division, provides technical support for Baku and regional office premises, as well as Customer Services Offices of MO in IP networks (including VPN and WiFi). The group engineers also cover IP and traditional telephony technical support for company offices and MO's Call Center.

Key Responsibilities

The DataCom team member will be providing technical support for network issues; the job responsibilities will include:

•Technical support of MO’s PSTN network
•Technical support of MO’s ethernet, wireless and VPN networks
•Technical support of Call Center

Reporting Responsibilities

The DataCom team member will report to DataCom team head and Enterprise IT unit head.

Required Skills and Experience

•University degree (Computer Sciences, Computer networks, System analysis majors are preferrable)
•Strong knowledge of internetworking and TCP/IP
•Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS/CatOS, PIX, VPN technologies
•Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies and TDM Telephony
•Good understanding of wide range of protocols/standarts
•Strong knowledge of FR/ATM/Ethernet/X.25/ HDLC/PPP
•Preferable knowledge of 802.11x WLANs
•Knowledge of UNIX
•CCNA/CCNP certifications (preferrable)
•3 years of work experience in related fields
•Language skills: Azerbaijani and Russian - fluent, English - upper intermediate
