Position: Corporate Communications Officer (CCO)

About Organization:

Madad Azerbaijan is the national organization whose mission is to provide educational solutions for professional development and make innovation in learning accessible to governments, businesses, and policymakers.
Madad Azerbaijan was founded by the national staff of Relief International in 1999 and officially registered in 2000. Madad has successfully developed an independent identity and a diverse portfolio of innovative, relevant and sustainable programs in such spheres as development of education, implementation of ICT, reconstruction and building of school institutions, development of local communities, public health services, administration of the libraries and enterprise development. Since 2005 Madad Azerbaijan is supported by the Government of Azerbaijan to implement one of the three strands of the State Program on Integration of ICT in Education.

Main duties and responsibilities;

 Maintain a positive public image of the organization
 Liaise with and build strong working relations with relevant local government officials and media.
 Compose effective press releases, prepare information and media kits and develop and maintain company’s internet or intranet web pages.
 Identify the organization’s main focus groups and audiences and determine efficient ways of communication.
 Develop and maintain the company's corporate image and identity.
 Manage special events to support partnership development and visibility.
 Identify and publish newsworthy stories from the Madad’s activities and projects through press-releases and media outlets.
 Manage communications budgets.
 Evaluate advertising and promotion programs for their compatibility with public relations efforts.
 Work with Executive Director and related managers in developing corporate communications strategy of the organization.
 Facilitate constituent relations, or the relationship between different parts of the organization, such as managers, employees, contractors, and/or branches.
 Maintain the organization’s Knowledge Management System.
 Observe and report on social, economic and political trends that might affect the organization.

Requirements:

 Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English. Russian is an asset.
 Mature, professional, enthusiastic, strong decision-making personality.
 Excellent writing skills.
 Proficient in all Microsoft applications
 Background education in public relations, journalism, management, or education.
 Ability to work under pressure and long hours.
