Madad Azerbaijan is the national organization whose mission is to provide educational solutions for professional development and make innovation in learning accessible to governments, businesses, and policymakers. With more than 12 years of experience and international expertise, Madad Azerbaijan contributed to the development of educational, ICT, socio-economic, and health sectors in the Republic of Azerbaijan through its creative and constructive approach.

Currently, Madad Azerbaijan is recruiting successful candidates for the Program Officer position. Position:  Program Officer

Reports to:  Program Coordinator

Position grade:  Programs Department, 3

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordination of program activites among the office staff, field trainers, local government authorities, and clients in Baku and the regions;
• Logistical support in organizing training programs, such as necessary arrangements for the training center establishment, materails delivery, trainer selection, training monitoring and evaluation;
• Work with the organization’s database to ensure the information is entered and stored safely as per the requirements of the organization;
• Consolidation of program reports for the organization’s clients and government authorities;
• Participation in the initiatives related to the affiliation with international educational networks and organizations;
• Participation in the development and/or adaptation of training content led by the Research and Development and Program managers;
• Participation in the research initiatives led by the Research and Development manager;
• Participation in business development initiatives led by the Executive Director;
• Represent the organization at local and international events;
• Travel within Azerbaijan and abroad as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous internship or work experience in the field of education, training, development, and professional development;
• Bachelor degree in one of the following areas: Education, Pedagogy, Management, Economics;
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English;
• Proficiency in Russian is an advantage;
• Advanced user of MS Office, Internet browsers, and office equipment.

• Mature, creative, responsible, and attentive to details;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills;
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
