JOB DIMENSIONS/ CONTEXT
The jobholder’s core role in the company is to provide expertise in identification, assessment and quantification of key risk elements associated to the design,construction and operation stages of energy insurance projects, propose innovative solutions which would allow buyers to minimize loses associated to their technological process and at the same time give broker an opportunity to propose competitive and fit-for-purpose insurance pachages.
ACTIVITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Review design documentation of Plant (refinery, oil & gas processing platforms/terminals etc.), identify risk associated to the applied engineering standards;
2. Review HAZID, HAZOP, SIL reports of the Plant, assess the outcome of the reports, analyze gap and identify associated risks which could become cause of a loss;
3. Evaluate age of the Plant, evaluate maintenance strategy applied by owners, evaluate integrity of the Plant and thus identify/assess and quantify associated risks;
4. To review Flow Assurance Study Dossier of the Plant and identify, assess and quantify associated risks, propose solutions where appropriate;
5. To review process design of the Plant and provide recommendations where applicable;
6. To review constriction strategy of the Plant, evaluate associated risks and potential causes for losses;
7. To review operation and maintenance philosophy of the Plant, propose innovative solutions to reduce operational risk and potential causes of losses where applicable;
8. To issue all required insurance documents
9. To place the risks on Reinsurance Market ( predominantly on Lloyds’ Market)
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
- Educational: Process Engineering with applicable certifications;
Experience:
- Experience in oil and gas field process design, offshore greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a same position
- Language : English fluent (common and technical)
