IT GRUP SRL was founded in 2000 in Romania and since then was involved in major local and regional projects for the Downstream industry. The branch of IT Grup SRL started its operations in Azerbaijan in October 2019.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative System and Network Administrator who wants to be part of challenging new and ongoing projects using the latest technologies

Professional Experience

● Minimum 2 years of experience as System and Network Administrator
● Participating in big software projects is a plus
● DevOps experience or willing to learn DevOps is a plus

Job Responsibilities

● Determine what the organization needs in a network and computer system before it is set up
● Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases
● Install all network hardware and software and make needed upgrades and repairs
● Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software and all configurations and ensure that all systems are operating correctly
● Collect data in order to evaluate the network’s or system’s performance and help make the system work better and faster
● Add users to a network and assign and update security permissions on the network
● Train users on the proper use of hardware and software
● Diagnose hardware and software problems, and fix them asap
● Prepare data and disaster recovery scenarios and plans and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
● Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
● Prepare routine (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) checklists of operations and implement them as planned
● Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
● Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records
● Research new technologies and recommend its implementation

Qualifications

● Proven experience as a System and Network Administrator or similar role
● Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
● Knowledge of Windows and Linux administration
● Knowledge of virtualization, VMWare or equivalent
● Experience with Docker is a plus
● Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab CI/CD) is a plus
● Experience with any programming languages, databases is a plus
● Good writing/documenting skills
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Strong communications skills
● Strong team player and open to collaborations

Languages

● Azerbaijani – advanced
● English – upper-intermediate
● Russian – nice to have
