Business Development / Sales Manager (oil and gas)

Job responsibilities:

• Develop opportunities with both new and existing customers, although the majority of opportunities are expected to be at new customers.
• Develop an understanding of the technical aspects of offering products in order to communicate the advantages of alternative technologies.
• Performs relative market analysis on the renewable business potential
• Discover and explore business opportunities, prospecting new clients by networking and cold calling;
• Build market position by locating, developing, defining and closing new business relationships;
• Arrange business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients;
• Be the first point of contact for new potential clients;
• Close new business deals by developing and negotiating contracts;
• Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand awareness and loyalty.
• Grow and retain existing accounts;
• Works to achieve financial growth;
• Defines long-term strategic goals and works to exceed;
• Maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions;

Required Background, Skills and Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.
• Have a strong interest in a business role and the desire to develop and/or demonstrate commercial skills, including customer relationship, contract negotiations and the ability to close deals.
• A problem-solving ability;
