About the department

You will join a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for business in Commonwealth of Emerging Markets (CEM): Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. You will report to the Country Manager Azerbaijan and be located at Baku.

The position

In the role of Operations Manager, you will hold responsibility on establishing and driving the supply chain strategy and network in the Azerbaijan within approved budgets in order to enable supply chain becoming a competitive advantage.

Nature and scope of Main accountabilities

• Handling of supply contract agreement, initiation/update the agreements
• Participate and contribute into contracts’ and agreements’ development with distributors
• Ensure of the DD procedures
• Stock management
• Supporting country manager to work out of commercial conditions for partners. Monitoring of their performance. Collection and preparing data for bonus calculating.
• Supporting country manager to prepare commercial offers for wholesalers and other relevant partners
• Ensure timely and correct orders placement for production
• Follow up on logistic status
• Changing/creating customer in SAP
• Checking the final information in the invoices to follow-up payments according to Customers contract terms, overdue debts handling;
• Monitor status of accounts receivable on a continuous basis and control the risks of overdue debts
• to prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasting based on request of Finance
• to prepare Global Sales Forecasting annually for current year plus 2 years and revise on monthly basis, follow-up GSF accuracy
• Follow up on shipping process/documents
• Preparing the document for state tenders
• to keep contact with Customers on different levels (management, specialists) to ensure relationship
• Provide cost control process of all team members on regular basis
• Maintain Occupational Health and Safety process in local team

Qualifications

• University degree
• 6 years of experience in Supply Chain
• Command of English and Russian would be an advantage
• Experienced MS Office user
