Caspian Geo LLC is looking for HSE Advisors. Interested candidates are invited to apply for this position.

HSE Advisor reporting to HSE Manager on issues related to Suppliers and Contractor performance, ensuring that HSE requirements and expectations are being met to ensure safe delivery of the project. Also acts as HSE mentor to Offshore / Onshore HSE Advisors and Project team members.

Qualifications:

NEBOSH Certification or equivalent, OSHA 18001 Internal Auditor (preferred), Incident Investigation Certification and /or equivalent degree/certifications and experience.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years in HSE Management Environment with current knowledge of Industry HSE Regulations and standards required.

Responsibilities & Objectives

• Acts as Offshore HSE Lead responsible for advising the Project group and offshore contractors Management how to meet HSE expectations.
• Ensure that full compliance with HSE procedures and requirements have been implemented and maintained by all associated Contractors and Suppliers.
• Ensure that Contractor Reporting and Recording are compliant with HSE Procedures.
• Engage in clear, two-way communications with employees and contractors on HSE issues.
• Ensure proactive communications are established and maintained with employees, contractors, and authorities, regarding HSE aspects of the project.
• Review and prepare HSE Documents, Procedures and review of Risk Assessments.
• Undertake offshore tours as Company HSE Advisor as and when required.
• Participate in required Safety Meetings, Inspections and Kick-Off meetings.
• Ensure that Suppliers and Contractors execute their work in accordance with established and agreed Project Procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
• Co-ordinate safety and operational activities with third parties where necessary.
• Ensure HSE non-conformances are promptly responded to & integrated into Project Control systems.
• Ensure Permit to Work Systems are managed and fully implemented
• Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions are reported and investigated, and corrective actions are implemented and promptly taken to prevent reoccurrence

Requirements

• Technical qualifications preferred
• Good English (reading, writing, understanding)
• Microsoft Office,
• Work Experience in Seismic Survey and Marine is preferred
