Job Summary

Manages the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Office. Primary responsibilities include financial analysis and financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control. Exhibiting behavioral styles that convey confidence and command respect from others; making a good first impression and representing Marriott in alignment with its values. Perform below given and other tasks according to job description and other reasonable job duties as requested by Management.

• Assisting in Management of Accounting Team.
• Managing Projects and Policies.
• Demonstrating and Applying Accounting Knowledge
• Proving Financial Information and Guidance to Others
• Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals etc.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience at Finance Leadership role in Hospitality Industry;
• Accounting Software, MS offices (Excel, Word etc.);
• Diploma of Bachelor degree related to Finance and accounting training certificates if any;
• Language skills: Azerbaijani, English, Russian
• Big four background (preferably)

Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goal

1. Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
2. Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.
3. Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
4. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
5. Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued.
6. Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits, or verifies information or data.
7. Maintains a strong accounting & operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability and manage business risks.
8. Generates and reviews financial reports that are linked to the plan’s financial goals.
