Job role:

The Senior ICT Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Senior ICT Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

Job responsibility:

 Assist or where necessary lead on the development of business cases and ad-hoc projects requiring support from the ICT infrastructure team.
 Occasional requirement to assist the ICT team with installations of network servers, network equipment and telephony equipment during project work and/or to carry work out of hours.
 Review and follow with ICT policies and procedures in any kind of activity
 Anticipates problems and takes preventative action that may occur during operations.
 Operation and maintenance of all IT Infrastructure services hosted in all sites.
 Assist other IT functional teams to troubleshoot critical business systems.
 Ensure that the ICT Support team maintain their customer focus, are kept abreast of new technological developments and to provide in-house training when required.

Minimum qualifications & experience required

 High Education or equivalent qualification
 Understanding of both networking and telecommunications theory and practice.
 Azerbaijani, Russian, English
 At least 3 years of a professional work experience at the same position.
