Interns to Procurement/Logistic and Estimating Departments

Procurement Trainee

Requirements:

• Before start be familiar with the present and applicable legislation of Azerbaijan Republic
• Before start be familiar with the laws and regulation related to protection of safety at workplace
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent Azeri, Russian and English language skills, general computer skills
• Organized, stress resistant and ability to work in the team
• Upon start be familiar with Laser Gulf Procedures and Code of Conduct

Assist logistics coordinator and procurement with:

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
• Coordinate logistics staff according to availabilities and requirements
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers etc.to achieve profitable deals & mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management
• Responsible for ordering required materials in accordance with required specifications
• Responsible to research most competitive price under best delivery term conditions
• Ensure all requisitions are met in a prompt and efficient manner
• Expedite purchase orders submission as and when required

Essential Qualification and Experience

Advantage to have knowledge on current customs and taxes rules of Azerbaijan Republic
Applicable background with the training course certificates and university skills

3 months Internship followed by 3 month probation

Estimator Intern

Position Responsibilities

• Back up to Estimating Engineers.
• Communicating with Senior Estimating Engineer to clarify project estimating questions in all areas.
• To check the purchase orders, to prepare the Factory notifications, Work instructions specific to the projects and Job files up to fabrication stage 
• To interpret and follow Company tendering processing and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met in the quotation including relevant discipline codes and standards. 
• Liaise with vendors (if any venders are involved to participate in the tenders) to coordinate and undertake the preparation of tender specification documents to submit to vendors for quotation of their service required in particular projects.

Essential Qualification and Experience

• Degree in related field
• Good knowledge of English language

3 months Internship followed by 3 month probation
