Position: Audio Visual/Video conferencing Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Audio Visual/Video conferencing technician shall be responsible for the following activities.
• Installation of PC projectors
• Installation of projection screens
• Installation of large flat panel LCD/LED screens, including assembly of video walls
• Installation of PTZ cameras
• Installation of wall, ceiling and monitor-attached speakers
• Installation of audio and video signal cables
• Installation of network cables, which are used by AV equipment
• Installation of desktop and ceiling mounted microphones
• Installation and configuration of audio and video processing equipment, like sound amplifier, mixer, audio matrix, AV switchers, echo cancellers, etc.
• Installation of personal VC kit (web camera, headset, etc.)
• Move of Audio-Visual/Video Conferencing (AV/VC) kit, including dismounting equipment and mounting at the new location
• General maintenance of AV/VC equipment (replacement of bulbs, filters, cable management in AV racks, etc.)
• User training and coaching
• VC client software installation and configuration
• VC equipment testing, troubleshooting and commissioning
• Establishing and testing of individual and group VC sessions, i.e. meeting support, including consultation of users on best possible connection type

Knowledge and Skills:

- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in audio-video equipment installation, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Hands-on experience with AV equipment
- This should include understanding of programming of AV automation systems, upgrading of equipment firmware/software.
- Good knowledge of acoustics, video conferencing systems
- Computer hardware skills
- Soldering skills
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft technologies (Windows 7-8-10, MS Office)
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Team working skills
- Being customer oriented
- Languages: Azerbaijani and English (intermediate)
