Socar Cape joint venture working on major construction and maintenance projects both onshore and offshore. Projects include fabric maintenance on oil & gas platforms in the Caspian Sea and onshore operations in Azerbaijan and Georgia. We have delivered value to our customers through a safe, collaborative, innovative and efficient way of working.

We are looking for an "Offshore rigger" (only local candidates will be considered) with below requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the rigging / erection work scope is completed, in compliance with LOLER regulations and to a high standard of safety
• Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work-pack / job-card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
• Understanding of and development of lifting plans
• Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team
• Raising applicable Permit to Work (PTW) in order to complete work scope in a controlled and safe manner
• Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner
• Have an understanding of the Company Safety Policy and ensure that it is compiled with.at all times
• Always adhere to risk assessments, method statements, permits to work and any specific site safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as Offshore Rigger
• Level 3 Rigging & Lifting certificate
• Banksman & Slinger certificate
• English language - intermediate level
