Job Title: Timekeeper
Main responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to the following:
• To gather and compile time sheet and wage data from employees across departments and ensure that all employees are accounted for and that time sheets accurately reflect hours worked
• To maintain an accurate track of hours worked for payroll purposes by inputting time and attendance data into the computer
• To verify attendance, hours worked and pay adjustments while tracking overtime hours and approving compensatory time earned
• Track participants' attendance, report non-compliant participants to the Human Resources Administration
• To review employee payroll data to calculate wages and ensure other withholdings are properly calculated for each payroll period.
• To ensure that employees or their managers or supervisors properly submit timekeeping data
• To keep employee payroll data and the department’s record-keeping system
• To prepare Periodical Man hours and Man power reports, Summarized reports as well as cost report with respect to Man Hours for Costing, Monthly Salary report etc.
• To issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.
• To monitor payroll data for discrepancies or unusual occurrences to ensure accuracy and maintain correct information
• To manage strict deadlines for payroll processing and submission to ensure that paychecks are issued on time
Education/experience & Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field
• Knowledge of mathematical reasoning and analytical skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field
• A high level of attention to detail
• Word processing and proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Azeri and English
• Proper time management and organizational skills
