Junior Training Expert
Ekvita is looking for Junior Training Expert for the ongoing project.
The expected timing (implementation period) of the assignment will be 10 days between July and September 2019.
The overall objective of the Project launched on 7 May 2019, is to contribute to business development, employment generation across all economic regions of Azerbaijan and to raise rural livelihoods and the quality of life in rural areas. The purpose of this contract is to support Ministry of Economy and its relevant structures to provide improved support for entrepreneurship and SME development in rural areas.
Specific responsibilities
The expert will support the Senior Non-Key Expert in carrying out a training needs analysis among existing and potential entrepreneurs.
• The process will start with the identification of the most representative business associations in rural areas, which will be in a position to provide a representative target sample of entrepreneurs, including women and rural youth.
• The survey will include questions ranging from general enterprise information, employees, business trends, challenging areas particularly relating to trade, organization of human resources and training, funding, etc.
• Tailored questionnaires will be distributed to over 100 existing and potential entrepreneurs, while in-depth personal interviews with a select number of them will also take place.
An analysis report and recommendations will be prepared
Candidate Requirements
• University degree in a related subject
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Minimum 5 years of professional working experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the area of training
• Working experience in an EU funded project
• Experience of working in Azerbaijan, Russia or Turkey will be an advantage.
