Junior Lawyer

Essential requirements:

• Azerbaijani citizenship;
• Bachelor in law (Master`s degree is advantage, especially in Civil or Commercial Law)
• Min 2 years (work as volunteers, internships can be accepted, subject to available references)
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian; English – intermediate or higher
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office package; proficient in Excel
• Comfort working with/drafting legal documents/letters and strong attention to details
• To be familiar with local legislation, especially in civil law
• Experience of work with legal documents
• To keep legal/contract files organized and up to date in paper and/or electronic format
• To be ready for basic clerical tasks, such as photocopying, making and receiving phone calls, and fielding correspondence
• Organization and maintenance of a legal library and legal subscription services
• Preferences will be given to candidates having experience of work in reputable law firms or with experience in oil and gas or marine industry.
